If you’re a business owner hoping to break into the online market, you’ll want to know how to set up your website. WordPress, a site originally designed for blogging, now powers a whopping 30% of all the sites on the internet. This statistic alone suggests that WordPress is the place to go if you’re looking to build a site for your business.

You’ll also want to work on your SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation. Utilising SEO is easily one of the best ways to help you reach new customers. It’s a great choice for anyone looking to attract people to their website.

If you’ve decided to choose Wordpress for your website, you’ll no doubt be wondering whether the platform is a good choice for SEO. We’re here to tell you that it is – but why? Consider the following reasons before you create your site.

WordPress is an easy way to start working on SEO

If you’re a beginner to SEO, you can’t look past WordPress, which will give you an introduction to the world of optimisation. For starters, WordPress’ pages are easily understood by search engines. Google’s spiders are easily able to find, index, and rank WordPress sites. Heading tags on WordPress also inform search engines about a website’s content. Pages are customizable and can be edited and improved at your leisure.

It’s user-friendly

If you’ve never set up a website before, WordPress is by far the best way to start. The platform is exceptionally user-friendly. You don’t need to have any experience at all in web design. You’ll be able to build a site relatively quickly. In turn, you’ll be able to launch your SEO campaign with ease, instead of spending weeks just setting your site up. Getting started won’t need to be the headache it might be with other platforms.

It has a great support system

Wordpress does an excellent job of supporting its users. There’ll be answers to all your questions on its FAQ forums. Whenever you have issues with the platform, you can expect to find a solution quickly. It’s not only the official version, either. The company’s user base is often more than happy to help out newcomers. There’s a sense of community between WordPress users, who both ask for help and attempt to help others.

You can download compatible plugins

Plugins can help immensely in streamlining your SEO process. Yoast, for example, will help you to add meta titles and descriptions and can help you understand how to improve on-page SEO for their content. Yoast can also help you to improve your copywriting, so it’s more SEO friendly. As well as Yoast are plenty more incredible plugins that can help you customise your site – shop around, and you’ll be sure to find one that suits the needs of your business.

It ranks well on search engines

You’ve probably noticed that Wordpress sites are often high in your search results. (On the other hand, perhaps you haven’t. This is a testament to WordPress – it’s not always obvious that a site has been created with WordPress. This can be a positive factor for businesses.) There are plenty of reasons for these high rankings. For example, you can edit your permalinks. This allows you to provide vital keywords to search engines. Additionally, search engines take speed into account, and WordPress sites generally load quickly.

WordPress is clearly the right choice if you want to get started with SEO. Setting up a site is painless, and with any luck, it’ll bring you success. Choose a theme, set up a plugin, and you’ll be ready to attract new visitors and customers.

  1. Harper hi,

Fully agree with you. WordPress is a great CMC for the website and google ranking as well. What I love most of all in WordPress is YOST SEO Plugin. It is easy and very powerful.

I think as compare to the Yoast plugin Rank math is much easy to use. Its shows all the small point at the right-hand side of the blog pannel, and increase the SEO number gradually
